Green light for Braco Country Resort

Perthshire is to experience the Club La Costa effect with a new £20 million country resort.
Club La Costa have announced plans for an exciting new resort covering a 17 acre site in the grounds of the former Feddal Castle, Braco, Perthshire.
Approved in late 2006 the resort will include 100 holiday homes, a leisure complex, restaurant and café-bar. Improvements will also be made to the existing grounds.
Jonathan Kessel, Managing Director of CLC Country Homes, who are advising on the project, says "This is a significant first step in creating a well designed and high quality resort which will bring huge benefits to the local community, including the creation of up to 150 new jobs"
Some of the lodges will soon be offered for sale as off-plan purchases, coupled with a choice of unique packages, including outright freehold purchase, shared revenues, and the now well known CLC leaseback option, guaranteeing a rental income for up to 10 years whilst allowing owners to use the property themselves for their own holidays.
Following the incredible success of the sales and marketing of nearby Duchally Country Estate, where 54 lodges were all sold within 6 months of being offered, it is expected that demand for the new lodges at Braco will surpass these figures with many owners from Duchally choosing to invest here as well.
Not only will owners have the option to take up the leaseback deal, they will have full access to the resorts' brand new luxury facilities as well as being able to enjoy the many new walkways and cycle paths that are to be formed as part of the development.
Prices have yet to be agreed for the new lodges but enquiries are already flooding in.
With Scotland, and the area around Perthshire in particular, tipped to be one of the biggest movers in respect of prices in 2007 informed forecasters are predicting growth at twice the national average.
